Nandini’s tryst with Bharatanatyam began at the age of 7, under the able guidance of her first Guru, Smt. Subbulakshmi Ganesh. Her twinkling eyes and playful nature allowed her to thoroughly enjoy and flourish as Little Krishna. As she grew, her love for the art form only deepened, and she began expressing her desire to seriously pursue her passion.

Just as she began maturing as a dancer, she was blessed to find tutelage under the esteemed Guru, Smt. Kanaka Srinivasan. Her immense experience and elegance have been extremely inspiring for Nandini, and it is under her guidance that she has prepared for her Arangetram. Above all, Nandini’s love and commitment for the art form has increased manifold under her learned and exacting Guru.

Generally shy, she transforms into a confident and expressive young lady on stage. Nandini has performed at various temples and stages across Delhi NCR, as well as at Chidambaram and Thanjavur.

Currently a student of Grade 12 at MatriKiran High School, Gurugram, she is enjoying her studies in mathematics, economics and social sciences. She also continues to engage in yoga and gymnastics in her pursuit to remain fit and healthy. A Hindustani vocals’ student since the age of 6, she continues practicing under her Guru, Smt. Shivangini Yeashu Yuvraj. Nandini has been a regular performer at school events as well as a passionate guide to younger students. Her dynamism and holistic personality earned her the position of the School’s Head Girl.
